The Social Media/Web Strategist develops, implements and manages social media activities on behalf of Fletcher Allen Health Care. Also, this position develops brand awareness, generates inbound traffic, encourages adoption, and provides regular reports and analysis on utilization and documentation of effectiveness of social media strategies. Additionally, the rolse is responsible for providing support to the Marketing and Communications Web Team in the ongoing development and maintenance of the organization's online properties; participates in integrated online marketing initiiatives/ and keeps abreast of and leverages industry best practices.
Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent knowledge required.
4+ years experience in Web or other digital media is ideal
2+ years managing the social media presence for a business is required.
Experience in an ad agency is preferred
Direct client relations and project management experience required.
Proven results engaging and growing a social media network on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Worpress/Blogger and YouTube. Use of social media management/monitoring tools such as HootSuite, TweetDeck, Seesmic, etc. Knowledge of search engine optimization best practices required. Demonstrated knowledge in content management systems, Microsoft Office is required. Expert level attention to deail, superior customer service, and excellent oral and written communication skills required.
