Job Description

The Social Media and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of the organization's social media program and search engine marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities:

Search Engine Marketing
Manage and analyze multiple search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns on Google, Yahoo, MSN, Bing, etc. Optimize keyword effectiveness and support in planning campaigns and determining budgets. Develop analytics reporting and present to Marketing Director. Collaborate with Marketing Officer and Marketing Coordinator to maximize relevance between SEM campaigns and corporate website. Work with multiple business units to align organizational sales objectives with SEM campaigns. Write and gain approval of executed ad copy.

Social Media Program
Develop and implement the organization's social media program on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. Develop engaging content with Marketing Officer and Marketing Coordinator that aligns with organization's objectives and desired brand. Monitor and respond to user commentary regarding organization or its entities while coordinating with relevant business units to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of responses. Develop analytics reporting and present to Marketing Director. Collaborate with Marketing Officer and Marketing Coordinator to maximize relevance between social media campaigns and corporate website. Work with multiple business units to align organizational sales objectives and social media campaigns. Develop and support in executing ongoing training for future social media initiatives.

Compliance
Work with compliance department to ensure all disclosures are correct and coordinate/implement any regulation changes for both search engine marketing and social media efforts. Ensure all written complaints regarding the organization found in social media channels are documented, reported and responded to appropriately and according to the Complaint Policy.

Website
Support the Marketing Officer and Marketing Coordinator in the continued development and optimization of the corporate website.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with an emphasis in Marketing or a related field. 3 - 5 years marketing or related experience required. In-depth knowledge of search engine marketing principles and social media platforms and techniques. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience with: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat preferred, social media measurement and monitoring tools and social media web content development. Periodic travel to outside vendors/strategic partners and branch network may be required. Typical hours are 7:30 - 5:00 PM. At times, longer hours and attendance at evening events may be required.

Must be available to post time sensitive information on social media platforms during non-work hours.
Desired Skills & Experience
