Era Living, a respected and recognized leader in retirement living throughout the Puget Sound, has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Social Media and Search Manager to join our corporate staff.

The Position
The Social Media and Search Manager will be responsible for the company’s Social Media and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) strategy and implementation. This position will strategize, develop, and implement a comprehensive, engaging social media strategy that reaches seniors, their adult children and family, and the family of current residents. The manager will also be responsible for end to end strategy, management, and analysis of the SEM program.

Responsibilities include:
Work hand-in-hand with the communities to continually grow the social media strategy.
Develop, roll-out, and manage an e-newsletter program for each community.
Incorporate blogging and inbound link building into the strategy.
Stay ahead of the Social Media landscape on best practices and strategies for engaging people.
Manage all SEO efforts with the support of the company’s contracted SEO platform.
Oversee the keyword research, campaign strategy, development, creative, and bid management.
Analysis of competitive landscape.
Identify, optimize, test, and analyze campaigns and opportunities.
Develop and analyze regular performance reports and targets.
Develop comprehensive linking strategy.
Stay ahead of the SEM landscape on researching literature, blogs, trends, competitors, algorithms, and strategies.
Manage the day-to-day marketing initiatives.
Responsible for updating the website content, including calendars and news via the company’s content management system.

The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate for this position will have a passion for social media, online marketing, and creating engaging content. Candidates will be able to plan, direct, coordinate, and manage projects with excellent judgment and critical thinking skills. Candidates will have a meticulous attention to detail and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in social media marketing.
Proven experience in creating, managing, and marketing Facebook Pages.
Strong understanding of the search engine marketing industry and practices.
Experience in campaign management tools, search, and web analytics.
Able to maintain resident and Era Living confidentiality. Sensitive to the needs and concerns of older adults.
Experience in INDD preferred.
