Responsibilities: The American Girl St. Louis store is slated to open in spring of 2012.
Visitors to the new American Girl store will find the complete assortment of the company's popular historical and contemporary dolls, along with doll outfits, accessories, girl-sized clothing, and a variety of best-selling American Girl books. In addition, American Girl fans will be able to enjoy a meal and a delicious dessert or celebrate a birthday in the store's fun and casual Bistro or treat their dolls to a new 'do in the popular Doll Hair Salon.
The talents of many individuals are needed in order to make a girl's visit to American Girl a special one. We are currently recruiting for a Personal Shopper.
As a Personal Shopper you will be responsible for giving customers the highest possible level of personalized service at American Girl Place. This includes working with customers on the floor, building a rapport with clients, keeping a clientele book up-to-date and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Requirements: An affinity for working with customers with a minimum of two year experience in a retail or service industry. Must have a background in sales. Should have experience in client development. Must enjoy public speaking, children and possess a warm and friendly demeanor.
